in her ballgown

• The empire-waisted dress has one-piece bodice (the shoulder seams are not cutted) and bell-shaped skirt with several deep pleats in the back  and a short train. The underskirt is pale blue, about 1 cm  shorter and it hasn't the train. The dress laces up in the back.
  
  Threre are 7  false slashes on the bodice -  I made a tube from the finest chiffon, threaded it  and  stitched through the bodice.The dress is tighten under breasts with orange belt, pleated in "Fortuny's style". 
  
  The puffy sleeves are gathered under the elbow to the long, narrow cuff  The sides of the cuff are sewn together with an elastic thread. Under the two pairs of red bands are hidden other gatherings. The red parts of the dress are embellished with tiny glass pearls.
  
  
• To the costume belong also the fabric headband, attached with an "invisible thread" under her chin, the white stockings and the golden plastic pumps by Mattel . The long necklace from small clear beads is attached to the orange ribbon, that goes around her throat.
  .

• For the bodice and the cuffs I used a fire red crepe-de-chine;
  
• for the skirt and headband  a lemon yellow ponge, with hand painted  blue-pearl ovals;
  
• for the underskirt a baby blue silk satin;
  
• a white nylon chiffon for the sleeves;
  
• a stripe of the off-white silk chiffon for the filling of the "slashes";
  
• for the sash I used a finest orange ponge.
