by Tonner company.

Yes, yes, I know that Tonner Co. produced the portrait dolls of all four
Pevensies - but I don't like them, and I thought, that my
Bren (named after "Bones" Temperance Brennan) might look good in this
costume from Prince Caspian movie :-)
- The over dress consists the jacke the with
princess seams and the circular skirt.
The two-part skirt is separated from the jacket.
It is made from a red brick dupioni, at front
split until about 4 cm below
the waist. At the back, there are several small
pleats and the skirts fastens there with hook and eye.
The fitted
jacket from grey/blue dupioni has princess
seams at front and back, the front central part is
slightly pointed at bottom. The material was painted at first, and after the
bodice was sewn up, the french knots were embroidered on the each spray.
The scoop neck is edged with a gold cord and
has a rounded U-shape cut out of it with two
gold cords across it. The bottom edge of the
bodice is bordered with a gold,
hand embroidered band. The whole jacket is lined in pale blue crepe-de-chine,and
only the back parts are stiffen with vlieseline.
For the brick red bell sleeves was used a silk/viscose velvet, edged
with a gold cord at
- The underdress from
a pale blue crepe-de-chine is very wide, A-shaped.
The narow sleeves reach under elbow., the neckline is
slightly gathered, so it created a narrow fringe around the neckline of the
jacket. There was not necessary any fastening - the dress pulls over
head.
- The belt, the scabbard and the pouch for the
cordial vial were made from a fine red leather. They are
embellished with parts of an old filligrain button, a bead
cap, hot-fix nailheads and golden painting, and then covered with
gloss varnish for acryllic paints. The dagger was created from the two-part
epoxy putty and piece of a tinplate, and the vial are simply 3 beads on a
wire. The clasps are made from brass wires.
- To the costume also the white tights.
