Princess bride ooak for Barbie doll - pink belted dress
I would almost bet, that this  Buttercup's dress  nobody remember. Buttercup appears in this costume  only for ca 1/2 minute to "plague" prince  Humperdinck with questions about Westley. A few images exists, all of them show her only to her hips. But I like this dress...  Please, remember, this is a movie costume, not  a period, and there I did see princess seams - so I copied it.

Description One-piece OOAK dress for regular 12" Barbie.
  • The gown from a pink habotai has front princess seams to the hips, the short train and is laced up back.

  • The sleeves are two-pieced, one is slided into the other. The long sleeves are made from a pink damask, embroidered with  fine bullion (I used cross stitch and Spanish chain stitch).
    Short sleeves from pink-gold polyester brocade are lined, have short slit and are beaded with golden, clear and pearl- like beads.

  • The girdle contains from 3 stripes, beaded with clear beads. Through these beads I then pull a pink floss. It closes back with  one small snap.
